From April 26 to April 29, the TECHNART 2011 Conference on “Non-destructive and microanalytical techniques in art and cultural heritage” will take place in Berlin, Germany. The conference provides a forum for scientists to present and discuss the latest developments in the field of analytical spectroscopic techniques for applications in the field of cultural heritage.
Art Innovation supports the conference and we would like to invite you to visit our stand at the commercial exhibit. At our stand, you can get demonstrations and hands-on experience of our ARTIST Multispectral camera system, our DIVA Mobile spectral camera and the camera positioning system CPS100. A research engineer will be available to answer any question you may have about our products and to discuss with you the technological challenges of your specific applications.
At the TECHNART 2011 Conference, a research paper will be presented on the use of the SEPIA Quantitative hyperspectral imaging system for measuring the influence of environmental parameters on the condition of historical documents and for long-term condition monitoring. The research is carried out in a cooperation of the Nationaal Archief (National Archives of the Netherlands, The Hague), the School of Computing of the National University of Singapore and Art Innovation. You can download the abstract of the presentation from here.
