ART'11 conference in Florence

From April 13 to April 15, the 10th issue of the renowned triennial ART International Conference will take place in Florence, Italy. At the ART’11 conference, conservators and scientists of diverse fields will meet to discuss non-destructive investigations and micro-analytical techniques for the diagnostics and conservation of cultural and environmental heritage objects.
At the stand of Art Innovation at commercial exhibit of the ART’11 conference our research engineer will demonstrate the ARTIST Multispectral camera system, the DIVA Mobile spectral camera and the camera positioning system CPS100.  We will be happy to discuss with you the technology requirements for your specific applications and how the Art Innovation products may support your research.

At the ART’11 Conference, the research paper “Quantitative hyperspectral imaging for classification and monitoring of materials on historical documents” will be presented. In a cooperation of researchers of the Nationaal Archief (National Archives of the Netherlands, The Hague), the School of Computing of the National University of Singapore and Art Innovation the SEPIA Quantitative hyperspectral imager of the Nationaal Archief was used for the non-destructive analysis of original documents and for studying spectral changes in artificially aged manufactured samples. You can download the abstract of the presentation from here.
